EduSnap User Guide provides a history of the EduSnap, the EduSnap Process, research support and intent for the EduSnap codes, the EduSnap Codebook, and guidance including sample graphs for providing EduSnap Data feedback to educators.

EduSnap Codebook
EduSnap Codebook provides definitions and examples for the 25 EduSnap codes, coding rules, and guidelines for how to choose children to observe. EduSnap Codebook divides the codes into four sections to help observers organize their observation. The electronic version of the codebook is embedded in the EduSnap Classroom Observation Measure application.
Rationales for each EduSnap code
Each of the 25 EduSnap codes represents something children are potentially exposed to or participate in during school, and observing the codes concurrently provides a clear picture of how children experience classrooms. The rationales for each code provide information regarding the authors’ intent for the code and additional clarification.
Examples of EduSnap Data graphs and tables
Immediately following an observation, EduSnap Data are generated in tables and graphs. The EduSnap User Guide provides samples of these tables and graphs along with guidance on how to read the data and how the data represents children’s classroom experiences.
