EduSnap Classroom Observation Measure is a time-sampling observation measure that quantifies how children experience their time in education and care settings. EduSnap Data are collected during naturalistic observations of classrooms and the functioning of the classroom is not disrupted. Employing 25 codes, the EduSnap Classroom Observation Measure provides an in-depth look at how children experience activity settings (e.g. whole group, small group, transitions), content areas (e.g. literacy, science, math), student learning approaches (e.g. collaboration, metacognition), and teaching approaches (e.g. didactic, scaffolds).
